Inspira soft touch sizes?

Post by TinyMe on 6th March 2009, 5:56 am

I am very confused.....

At my consult with SH he offered me 250 or 275. I had told him I wanted inspira soft touch.

At my consult with SW he offered me 240 or 265. I don't think I told him that I was decided on Inspira soft touch, but not sure.

I started thinking about this, and yesterday I called my PC, Tez.
She said that inspira soft touch comes in 240 or 275 and nothing in between....

Then I realised that moonmar had Inspira 265 - CONFUSED!

Anyone know?

I am sure you did, and moonmar too? And SW said I could have 265, or was he talking about CUI? And SH said I could have 250 or 275?
So why did Tez say they only come in 240 and 275?
It doesn't make any sense!!!

I'm kinda hoping Tez didn't know and gave me incorrect info....

Originally, SW told me to ask his PA for 275, but when I got to the hospital, he said they came in 265, not 275 ... so that's what I got. Gonna try and find my card now, and check!!!

I think mine are full projection BUT I can't confirm now as in the booklet I was given it doesn't say the projection, only the cc - will have to ask next time i see the surgeon. All I know is that they come in moderate, full and extra full projection, I think, so maybe the 240 and 275 come in a different projection than th 265, it's all I can think of....
They shouldn't have been talking about CUI as I thought My Breast surgeons only use Inspira....

Right. Found my card.

It doesn't say the make, I don't think ... Inspira or Allergan are nowhere to be seen.

It says TRF265 265g.

Now I'm worried that I didn't get the Allergan lifetimes :o(

What do you think, Nads ... you know so much about it all, I'm kinda hoping you can reassure me :o(.

Sounds like you have Textured Responsive Full Projection (TRF) from looking at my catalogue. They are still the Inspira range but not Soft touch, the gel inside is Responsive instead. I know a girl off Sofem who had SW and he gave her the same ones (Responsive) and she thought she had Soft Touch too. They are still lifetime warranty hun as they are the Inspiras still, the gel inside is just different x

Oh no!!!

Do you have all the details? I want to know now. I just assumed (wrongly) that I had the soft touch.

At least they're still the lifetime warranty, but what's the difference between soft touch and responsive???

Thanks, Nads ... feel really stupid now :o(

Mine says TSF265 or 265 g (I guess the "S" instead of R refers to Soft Touch?). Nads I would love to see the catalogue too, can I pm you my email address?

I think responsive is a slightly firmer gel than the soft touch

Inspira Textured Responsive
TRF (Full Projection)

Size Diameter Projection

TRF265 11.0 4.5

It has the same shell technology as Soft Touch it says, basically its the softest gel they make, so Soft Touch is a little firmer, not sure in the difference of cohesiveness though hun x

Damn, I was sure I was getting moderate profile. They are both cohesive, though, aren't they?

Ah, thanks for that, Nads. Looks like I did get the style I wanted - the middle one of the three!!! I'm not sure I specifically asked for the soft touch, in fact I know I didn't. So I'm happy now.

Thanks again.
