HUm im worried but i might just be...............

Post by Crystal on 23rd October 2009, 7:58 pm

Hi girls just a quick one ......I had my op 13 days ago & im very please with how they look as they are lovely & round & not at all wide apart but im getting really sharp pains in the middle off my cleverage & im getting a bit parranioded (cant spell lol) that they may be a bit to close together as there is about a just under 1/2 inch gap between them & the middle bit seems only very slightly raised & tight so im getting worried that im gettin sysmste ???? dont no the name but when the implants joint together in the middle & looke like one giant boob! Mine dont look anything like the ones i have seen online that have gone wrong but im worried it could bre the start!!!
I could just be gettin paraniod but it does keep really hurting & like i say the middle looks a little raise but if i take my bra off you cant even tell they look fine in the mirror its just from me looking down that i can notice. for 13 days they push totally together as they are soft & if i tense my boob musles the go completely round & pull apart by about a inch & you cant see the lifted bit anymore

Oh yeh i was surprise that my musle had a effect on the shape off my inplant as i had over so didnt think tensing them would do alot to there shape!

Thanks Sta

I wouldn't have thought that you should be able to tense the implant with your muscles if you had overs. I can't even tense my chest muscles without squashing my boobs with my arms lol. Your fitter than me.
The shooting pains you have are normal and it's just the nerves knitting back together. As for them being close together, they are still sitting quite high and although they are softening they will still be quite firm. The middle part of your cleavage may still be quite raised due to swelling I know mine was for a good few weeks but it went down against my ribs. You need to giveit another couple of weeks. I have the same gap now that I had before my op, just with bigger boobs. Just after my op they were a lot closer together.

I had/have the exact same thing. In between my boobs was raised slightly for weeks and weeks. Eventually after running my hand down onver it a few times a day (as advised by ps) it soften and stretched. My boobs are also very close together. I have self diagnosed lol and think that one pocket is ''slightly'' to large and i push the left one pretty much into the middle. However it looks absolutly fine, whether they are free or in a bra so I have just accepted it. Although I can push both implants together it def does not give me one boob.

Im sure you will raise this when you see your ps for a check up so best to see what he advises.

I no its bizzare but like i said he told me i was having overs & has not told me othewise.............Its just the 1st time i used my underboob musles to open a very heavy door i jump because it was such a odd feeling which has luckerly passed but i stood in the mirror & tensed them (like you do! lol) & was surprised to see them move outward by half a inch & like i said they became like two stuck on footballs rigid! I can even do the boob dancy like blokes do when they flex there pecs HA.....It dont really bother me & they still look fab but i just didnt really exspect to be able to move them as they are overs..........My skin is very thin & tight thou so mabe this is why i can moove them?

Im hoping the bit in the middle is just swelling & sore I think i my have aggravated it today with a bit off brisk bouncy walking back to my dads car because we forgot to pay for a car parking ticket !

Im just hope its not the middle musle giving away as i did have large implants...............................

I had this too hun, really worried I was getting the beginnings of uni-boob but subsequently found out that it's much more common to get it with unders, very rare with overs. It is just due to the swelling and in a couple of weeks it will go down. Mine do the little pec dancy thing too and move slightly further apart when I do that - quite strange!

Happy healing hun! xx

Hey - so glad you put this topic up - I am obssessed with running my finger between to make sure that I still can! I do it at work and the girls tell me I am doing it during conversations! Not a good look when you're the boss!

I am 5 weeks PO now and it still feels spongy to me. I have literally a sideways index finger width inbetween mine. I hope that's not the start of symmastia. I have only just started sleeping on my side but worry it'll stretch the pockets into the middle. I also make sure I try and doze equally on each side to keep them symmetrical. I am also wooreid that my right nipple is too low and more of a losenge shape that the round of my left. I hope this is just the skin needing time to stretch.....

I think I need to chill and have a cup of tea!!! But you can't stop looking though because they're new. Roll on the days when they are just 'there' and I forget about it... Great topic though Sta. I'm feeling a bit better already...xx

God i Know its a horrible feeling when you think oh mu god something is not right, but like you i keep proding it in the middle but it makes me feel worse cause i start to think oh no its got a little further away but im sure im just being paraniod! & the more i poke it the more it aches!!!!! I just keep hoping it will settle as i dont think i could cope with another op....................................

I'm sure it will all settle out fine. I suppose our poking doesn't help. I have a Mondors Cord that isn't helping as that's hurting when I stretch - not to mention that my right nipple is still asleep and looks like a marshmallow!!

Symmastia's more common with unders and I'm sure it would've happened by now if we were going to have it. But it doesn't stop the owrry does it especially as I am still spongy!! Keep me posted on your healing. xx

I would agree that it probably is just swelling. When I flex my pecs my implants move too hun and I have overs! I was training in the gym the other day and pointing it out to my personal trainer - "Look N they're moving can you see??". Poor boy didn't know where to put himself!! Hysterical

Hi,

This is all normal. The skin inbetween my boobs was raised for quite a while, but I am 5 months post op now and it has more or less disappeared. I think it is more noticeable if you get big implants (I had 410 overs). It's normally just swelling.
