really worried about my size - shall i cancel!?

hi everyone

i am feeling really upset and worried today and tempted to cancel :pale:
its just that i have been looking at other peoples pictures of implants who have had a smaller size than i am supposed to be having (275cc) yet their boobs look absolutely massive! i really want to look natural and actually to have small boobs (i currently look like a 12 year old and just want to have a bit of something!) but i think that with my implant size, and only being a size 8 and quite short (5 foot 3) i am going to look like jordan! this will really upset me as i dont really want it to be noticable.
did anyone else worry themselves sick?
i want to change to a smaller implant but this means i would have to change my surgery date again (which was originally tomorrow, and is now the 24th!) - leaving me even more time to worry and get upset! my originally surgeon suggested 210, 230 or 250cc for a small B/large C, but then i changed surgeon cos i didnt really like him and the surgeon i am having now wanted me to have either 275cc or 290cc!! i was shocked by this but he said he wanted me to be a full C in order to create a more natural look and get rid of the gap inbetween my boobs!
i am so worried. i just want to be a C cup but can see myself becoming like a DD and being even more self conscious than i am now! help!! i have wanted this for so long and now i feel like it is out of control and i am actually going to regret it :sad:

hi hun nads had your size and hers look really natural and not to big i dont think u should cancel we all stress over sizes its normal and fake boobs always measure bigger than they look so if u end uo measuring a d/dd your most prob look a c ask anyone on here fake measure bigger than they look im sure that size on u will look real natural

Hi Josey, I remember these times well I was worried I was going to end up too big!! Actually now 3 months on they don't seem that big to me at all. I am very narrow up top and I started off around a 32b and had 325cc full profile after being advised for 280's. I do measure a DD but I don't think I look the same size as a natural DD.

I started off bigger than you and had a larger implant, I would be happy if you would like to have a look at my pics to show you that they honestly don't look massive. I think Nads had the size you're having and she has a lovely natural result. PM me if you want to have a look anyway hun. If you want a smaller implant go with it , it's your decision at the end of the day no one elses and it's important that you are happy xx

I dont think they'll look absolutely massive on you. I think 275 is on the small side of the average sized implants. I'm only 5'1, size 10 and all the recommendations I got were between 300 and 340 overs.
I'm not sure this size will make you look a C, I think you may look smaller than that. I'm obviously not a professional though! Best thing to do is having another meeting with the surgeon and discuss it some more.
Why dont you make some rice boobies and try them on with a few different tops to get an idea of how they'll look on you?

Nats is right hun, augmented boobs always measure bigger than they actually look, I am in a 34e sports bra atm but theres no way I look an e, only a d/dd.

Nads did have your size and hers look perfect and soo natural and shes tiny like you!! I wouldnt cancel hun, I would trust your surgeon and that you will look really natural maybe ring up and ask for a telephone cosultation with him to double check with him to ease your worries hun xxx

Hi,i had 260g overs and i was a 32a to start,i do have to wear D size bras,but honestly i only look a C naked.Sometimes i can look like a B cup in some tops and look no different to when i used to wear a gel bra preop.Mind youthis is slightly annoying at times,when i wish they looked bigger,but trust me you will still look natural.All the best x

I think you saw my pics earlier, hope that isn't why your now worrying because I had 230ccs and they look quite big.....in reality 45ccs is hardly any difference at all and 275ccs are not going to give you HUGE boobs. But it is important to get the size right so if you are really really concerned and want smaller ones then there is no harm in putting your op back again. my first op was supposed to be january, i ended up putting it back and back until mid april becuase so many things were bothering me and wanted to be 100% sure of size/surgeon/company etc. and C/D/DD etc don't worry about, the size that you end up wearing means nothing...i'm all three of these sizes in different bras and think everyone on here would agreee that they are different cup sizes in different brands so there isn't such a thing as a definate C cup anyway, try not to concentrate on wanting to be a C and being scared of being a D (that's exactly what I did!) and concentrate on how you want them to LOOK not what you think they should measure. Have you tried the rice test and everything to give you ideas of sizes? might be a good idea for you to make one rice boob with 230ccs and one with 275ccs and them honestly you will see that the difference is minimal and if you do go for the bigger size it isn't going to be a massive jump in size, 45cc is hardly any difference at all you will hardly be able to tell the rice boobies apart withotu really close inspection! xxxxxxxxxx .x.

I was exactly the same and worried they would look silly, i had 250s and measure a 32dd but they really only look around a C cup, they do look biggish in my picture but thats only because of the bra, lozzied is right about doing the rice boobies you will see the difference is hardly anything.

thanks everyone! i am going to ring my nurse co-ordinator and talk to her about this, i just want to be 100% sure because it would be awful to regret it when its all i have ever wanted!!! i just dont feel like my surgeon understands that i actually dont want big boobs in the slightest!! i have been looking at everyones stats and really think i will end up a 32D which sounds shockingly large!!
lozzied - i think your boobs look incredible, it just scares me that my implants are actually bigger than yours!! yours look gorgeous and i would like a similar look at a maximum! whereas in reality mine will be larger than yours! i dont want people to say 'oh my goodness look at her boobs' when i walk into a room, because that is exactly what happens now (due to me having none) and i dont want to go from one extreme to the other and recieve negative attention even afterwards!! did you have to pay to change your surgery date? i have already changed once due to changing my implant type to allergan and feel i am a total nusiance patient!!
i did go to the clinic on wednesday and try on a 245 and a 275 and the difference was minimal, but i have heard that on smaller girls even a 40cc difference can be quite a change!! i hate worrying like this, it seems to be all i do now that its booked, even though i have begged my parents for this for about 6 years!!

I agree with the others that rice boobies are a great idea!

All I can add is that I think I'm like you, 32AAA but I am quite skinny to be honest (7 stone, if that). 240cc's have made me look natural I think, and under clothes I still look very small! But it was the biggest I could have had.

I think if you're a bit bigger than me 275's should be fine. Who's your surgeon hun? Are you still going with Harley Med? If your surgeon's anything like mine they absolutely wouldn't let you go bigger than was right for your body.

.x. im not sure if you will have to pay to change your date, i don't think so...i was with harley medical and then postponed the date by a couple of months, they didnt charge me. but then i just wasn't happy with them and ended up changing to transform to book a different date with them and then that time i stuck to it and went with transform as planned.

275ccs won't automatically give you a bigger result than mine....how they end up looking is dictated by so many other factors like the profile of your implant not just size in CCs and also things like your general frame, your bandwidth measurement and loads of other things too liek your frame in general. I've seen girls with bigger implants with me who have a very comparable result or sometimes even a smaller looking result xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Do you mind me asking what size are you now after surgery? I was interested to find out what size yours became as you are the same pre-op as me (quite rare, most peoples pre-op boobs look amazing to me!!!) Would you have gone larger if given the option?? (think i was offered larger as i weigh a bit more than you despite the same ribcage size!)
Im still with HMG, changed surgeon from Dr.Frati (i changed implant type so had to change surgeon) and am now with Dr.Moraci (who is embaressingly good looking but really nice!) Dr.Moraci seemed keen for me to go for a 290cc but i was really shocked and said 'no way!' and he said he wanted me to have 275cc minimum (which still sounded huge!) to make them look as natural and close together as possible! Dr.Frati was more than happy to give me 210cc (which we were thinking would take me to a B) 230cc (between a B and a C) or 250cc (which he was keen on but at the time i felt was too large as it would make me a C cup!!). So i am a bit confused!!
And how did your surgery go samarie? I am guessing you had unders also? Hope all went well and you are enjoying your new boobs - cant wait till all the decisions etc are over and i can just be excited for my turn!!

i think u really should listen to your surgeon on this one he wouldnt give u sumthing that will look to big on your frame and 275 is really on the small side

I don't really know what size I am to be honest! My sports bras are all over the place. Before I left the hospital my surgeon felt them and said they were about a C cup, but when the swelling goes down they will get a bit smaller.

To be honest though, I don't care what they measure!! It's just great to finally have something, and I think they do suit my frame. But my surgeon told me that it was a bit tight getting them in, and the 240cc's were the biggest I could have had. But that's because I am very thin and tiny-boned - he warned me against bigger implants from the start.

I had Mr Solomos (also very good-looking!). It must be difficult when two surgeons have said different things though. Lozzied's right in that the projection comes into it too.

All I can say is that I'm certainly not big now - but it is all down to preference. xx

thanks everyone - and samarie i am so glad you are happy with your size!! think we will probably end up similar as i have a slightly larger frame and a slightly larger implant, so to hear that yours suit you and are a great size is really reassuring!

Aw hugs hun, I don't really have any helpful advice as I'm having similar dilemmas but I do want to wish you the very best for your op and please don't be scared of voicing your concerns to the nurse or surgeon, it's a huge decision. But like the other girls have said, you made it clear that you didn't want to end up big so there's no way they'd ignore your wishes and give you something that didn't suit you. Also alot of the pics that you see online are quite soon after the op and usually look huge due to swelling. Have you seen some pics of results a few months on?
Definitely try the rice test though and see how that makes you feel xxx

You still have a bit of time to think about the size and its good you're going to try on the sizes again. I would see your ps again and be very clear about what you're after and ask what size will give you this. Mine really dont look that big naked, they suit my body really well and in clothes they disappear which im happy about as i didnt want huge boobs, you're welcome to see my pics x

I've pm'd you back (check the top of the page). Im a 32D, but its not that big, and also you will measure a bigger cup if you have a smaller band size because a 32D is the same as a 34C which is the same as a 36B etc etc
