Question for the runners amongst us..

Post by muddypaws on 10th August 2016, 7:16 pm

Hi ladies!

Hope your all doing well :-)

I've just started out on the couch to 5k running plan, I need a really good high impact non wired sports bra as the one I've got just isn't cutting it, any recommendations please.... I want them to be firmly strapped down lol.

Thanks x

I wear the ultimate run shock absorber. I run 10-14k every Saturday (asides from hangover days - haha) and I have to say I find it amazing. I also wear a very tight Nike running vest top - they are going nowhere!

Love running and was really scared boobs would get in the way but a good sports bra does a lot. I think everyone is different tho. Make sure it is super tight on u and get it properly fitted in a department store. U could always wear a macom over the top - ive heard of girls doubling up.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], sorry for the delayed response...but can i ask why non-wired? I got the wired panache and it was a game changer. I'd tried the shock absorber, the triumph triaction, M&S, but none of them strapped me down like the panache did. Its got the additional racerback clip to keep things in place too. Love it.

I couldnt breath when i tried doubling up for the first time, i think its more important to find the right one. But thats just my opinion, whatever works for you!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Sorry, not been on for a while. I opt for none wired wherever possible because my boobs are so close together there's not enough room for the wires to lay flat between them, when wearing anything other than a very low wired plunge bra the wires stick into my boobs in the cleavage area, is most uncomfortable, and rubs like mad. I really would not like to wear one whilst I was running, hence requesting non wired suggestions.

For day to day/ work etc I tend to stick to the Calvin Klein bralettes x
