It all depends on the individual. your ps wil be the one to decide. It all depends if there is enough skin to cover and go over the muscle. Some people don't have enough or thick enough skin, which means you can see the implant and they look fake and they can ripple.

Unders usually have a more natural look I think although to be fair, once there settled after approx. 6 months, judging from peoples avi pics on here, I don't think you can tell which are under and which are over!! panic

I would suggest you have some consults, and see what the ps teels you is best for you.

Good Luck

Unders or overs is something you will decide together with the surgeon. In general if you have enough tissue to cover the implant the surgeon will usually recommend overs. This is where your natural breast tissue sits and therefore the implant will move more naturally and you may have a slightly easier recovery. If you don't have a lot of natural tissue the implant can be placed under the muscle to get an extra layer of coverage. But basically don't try to decide which you want before you have a consultation with a surgeon. They will know best what works with your body.

There's no 'better' placement, just what's best for your body. You'll discuss your lifestyle with your surgeon, they'll take some measurements, and advise the best placement for you. Under's can take a little longer to heal, as the muscle is involved too. But the results...well, look at everyone's avi and spot the difference!

Excellent, good luck. I would reccomend taking some pics of boobs you like the look of. And try sizers on and take pics, so you can refer back to in the coming weeks.

Enjoy yahoo
