Had my tape off today, ouch!! That hurt a lot, and one has not stopped stinging since! On the positive side.. they look brilliant. Very neat and smaller than I thought which is good! Still feel very happy with how they look but just wish they were a bit bigger haha, always wanting something different! They are definitely natural looking so Mr McGeorge has done a great job :) I guess I never specified a size really as he said this size of implant measures to be the most natural looking for my frame so I just went with his judgement.

He also gave me some cream called science of skin, scar cream that he has done research into and believes it is really good so I have bathed my scars tonight and put some on. What cream/oils do you guys use? xxx

They look great in your avi, bet you are glad the tapes off eh? I've not heard of that cream but if he's researched it I imagine he wouldn't be suggesting it if it wasn't worth it. X let us know how you get on with it tho xx

Glad all went ok at your check except the hurting of the tape being removed. I was dreading that but mine didn't hurt.
I'm looking for a cream for my scars, going to google that one. When you say bathed your scars did your ps tell you to do that? Xxx

Sorry I didn't mean bath, just gently cleaned off any dried blood with cooled boiled water and cotton wool [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The stickiness of the tape is still around my chest and I can't get it off haha, I've showered and everything but still there so will just let it wear off. When the nurse was taking them off she pulled the skin off under my armpits either side though :( was stinging for ages and again in the water! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The boob greed is really getting me down actually, trying to really be strong about it and pretend I'm not disappointed but I actually am. I am very happy with the shape of them, but they are a lot smaller than I wanted.. I never tried sizers on with my surgeon but it is completely different when you used shaped implants with where the volume sits etc so when I tried 250cc on in the previous surgeons clinic they looked huge. So when Mr McGeorge suggested 270cc (even though he said don't listen to the volume amount as it means nothing) I thought it would be bigger than the 250 I tried on last... whereas now I can probably still fit in some of my old bras. I always wanted a petit natural look anyway... but I think what I was hoping for and compared to my boob wish list they are about a cup smaller. I know everything will change a heck of a lot so I am just trying to be positive and ignore them but when I get them out I get help but think wow they are small! Hope your are well lovely [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Ahhh but they look so perfect for you!! And once u can dress them up with bras they will look loads bigger - I totally freaked out at the largeness of mine when I first tried on a real bra and felt if have to cover them up but now they just look totally normal so I've got used to them! X

Yay to the tape off. Sorry for the disappointed feeling but you got a away to go with healing and changes so you may feel differently about them in another couple of weeks.
I use pure organic coconut oil on my scars x

Thanks lovelies! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - Yes thats what I keep thinking, I have a long journey yet so stop obsessing!! It's probably because I'll of been off work for nearly 3 weeks next week so everyday I am scrutinising them at home haha.

Just got two questions you might know that I was wondering about.. one of my scars has a lump in the middle of it which just looks like swelling to me but is this totally normal as the other one is flat as anything?

And also the tape residue is still stuck all over my boobs and ribs but can't get it off! Used gentle shampoo and baby oil but nope not budging haha, any ideas?

Please don't be disappointed really don't be. You look lovely and you look naturally blessed. I had anatomical shape too although I had to go big as I breastfed and without an uplift I had a lot of excess skin to fill. I am a 34f. But am a size 10 to 12 so on my frame it looks ok

My tape residue took a few days of showers to come off!! And I still have bumpy scars. They heal at diff rates. One side is really red compared to the other too! X

You look fab, and like loud has said, they pok natural and very in keeping with your frame.
They will look different again once you can wear pretty bra's and tops. Your not finished just yet xxx

I go from bio oil, to coconut oil,and even just bog standard body cream like nivea.
If it's there, I use it!

I didn't have tape, I had glue that PS removed at 4 week check up. I wouldn't worry about it, it will wash of eventually. Having said that my dad has to wear pain patches and he uses my mums Lancôme eye make up remover to remove the sticky residue xx

Oh and I had a bumpy scar on my right side, left side was lovely. It could be an internal stitch or just the way your healing. Just keep an eye on it but I'm sure it's fine. If it becomes sore and inflamed give your clinic a ring xx

stick with the baby oil, try wiping it over twice a day, itll come away eventually. Make sure you're drying your scars thoroughly. I used Tamanu balm after 4wks to help with the scabbing and dry skin, but couldnt bear the feeling of scar massage, made me feel sick. But if you've got the all clear to cream them, any will do.

Its totally normal for the scars to feel lumpy. Its usually a knot. It'll break down as the stitches dissolve. But its way too early to be worrying about that now.

You're barely 2wks post, and you're still going to have a lot of residual swelling right now. I know we say be patient, theres a lot of changes to come, but it really is true. You really cant judge them yet. Focus on healing and getting yourself back to normal right now. The rest will come in time.
