Post by Arlines 19th January 2016, 6:56 pm

Hello
To anyone that has had surgery I went to meet my surgeon today and paid my deposit before consultation which was today im 34aaa and I can't help but feel slightly disappointed I was really hoping for 300cc's but he offered me 285cc under the muscle. I really want a D or DD but he said I wouid get a C unsure what to do its not that I want huge boobs but its a lot of money and want to get it right the first time?
I can't help but feel because ive had to pay deposit I have to stick with it and I am happy with my surgeon

A surgeon is never 100% accurate with their bra sizing. I was told I'd be a nice C, and I own 32E cup bras. 285 is a teaspoon less than 300. Plus smaller implants go a lot further on some girls than others. Have you tried on rice boobs with his suggestion? If not, do that, spend a day in them and see if you're happy. If not, go back and discuss.

I would try not to worry.
Go back and say your not happy having tried on the sizers,  (if this turns out to be the case).

I agreed on 350 then was back there a month before surgery changing it to 375.

I agree with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], try the sizers on and see how they 'feel' on you. Forget cup size now, I always wanted a perfect D, I'm now 7 months on and popping out of my E cups, so I reckon I'm probably an F which sounds nuts. But under clothing and in a bra is really not that big on me.

Try the sizers, see how you feel.
Good Luck

I agree do rice sizers it does help understanding the projection and size although it's not an exact match. I went in to consultation thinking 350cc to get me to a nice d/ dd. I had been an F during breast feeding and didn't want to go that big (although I didn't look that big). We agreed on 300 or 325 and to see best fit during op. Turned out 325 fitted best and I am now an E cup, like Twinky says quite possibly an F (but they don't look it clothed) as I haven't been measured since 4 week po and I'm starting to pop out of my bras. Best of luck in your decisions xx

I think cup sizes completely go out of the window once you've had a BA! I had quite big implants for my frame - 375cc but I honestly think I look like a c cup!! Well my perception of a c cup anyway! I haven't been measured yet as its early days but I can bet I'll be coming up measuring a big size without looking it.

The only way to get the results you want and make sure you and your surgeon are on the same page is by taking pictures with u of women with a similar frame to yours with the size boobs you'd like to achieve. You can google pics and save them on your phone or have a look in some lads mags! You can try rice sizers - they also gave me quite a good indication on size.

If you aren't sure about the size you are entitled to go back and challenge him on it. It is your body and you are paying a lot of money. Perhaps get some free consultations for a 2nd opinion too?

But rest assured although you may feel that size is small there are plenty of girls on the forum with a similar size with lovely full big boobies!! Xx

Hi girls I think after all my research your all right. I think when you pay all that money you just want them bigger but to go from a 34aaa to a C is good enough for me im booked in for surgery on the 13th feb I can't wait ️Xxx

I agree Lucy , when I tried on my sizers I told him I wanted bigger he said a d I was like no bigger dd yes ok then I turned out a e!!! ( not complaining) I hD 350cc unders.

If you only want a C go with 285 but if you want bigger then go with a larger implant. You can decide if you want bigger xx

If you're that size I highly doubt you're a 34. Get a tape measure around you band and what ever inches that is, thats your true band size. Most places still get you to add the 4/5" in order to fit more women into a smaller range of sizes, so they dont have to stock so many. Then for your cup, measure the fullest part of the breast, take the numbers away, and go up the cups, so 1" difference A, 2"B, 3"C. So e.g I measure 31:36, difference is 5, so I wear 32DD. (depending on the bra, sometimes an E, sometimes a 34D. Its about fit, not size).

285 will go a LONG way on that frame. I cant give you exact sizes, no one can, but one of the girls who had theirs done at the same time as me went from 30AA to 30E with a 265. Besides, size is all relative. 28F; 30E; 32DD are all the same size essentially, its just the displacement of volume.

Do try and measure yourself to get a better rough idea of what you're going in with, and then spend a day in the rice sizers. If you're surgeon is telling you thats the largest you can safely go too, then you've got to trust he knows what he's talking about. If you're still not happy, get your money back and go elsewhere.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] yup! Its a really rough guide, good so that a) you know if theyre trying to gip you and b) where to start. It'll never be as good as a proper fitting obviously. And yes, lots of changes yet!

Thing is, you take those measurements and put them in any of these online calculators, you'll get ridiculous results like 36B. So please please please dont do that!

Hi, I was told an E and ended up a FF. But it has to feel right for you. Did you manage to get across how you really feel at the consult? Sometimes they are overwhelming and you don't always get to say what you really want xxx

Hello !

I had 295cc and started with an A cup and Im a DD.
I find them really big and wish I had gone a tad smaller to be honest Anyway Obviously that is a personal choice! wether one wants to be a bit too big or a bit too small but 285cc will definitely give you some big boobs. XX
