Tight feeling over incision

I iimagine I'm being majorly paranoid but is it normal to have a really tight feeling over one incision? The incision under my left implant feels very tight and restricted at this sort of time on the night. It's fine all day until this sorta time, and the other incision seems ok.

I might call them up tomorrow I'm just very wary of if I get an infection I needed it treated immediately. Xxx

It's totally fine. Its just healing. You Only need to worry if they start oozing green smelly puss, or you start feeling feverish. All the tighness and pangs and pains are quite normal!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I knew I could rely on you to reassure me! Thank you xxx I think I am just so paranoid about every little thing! Rash has spread to my face now as well but I feel completely normal otherwise so I think it is a reaction to the meds - will give the hospital a call tomorrow see what they suggest xxx

Just for extra piece of  mind,I had this too. I can't remember on which one but it was so tight and some days when I was trying to get up from the couch, I felt like it was almost cutting into me like cheese wire!
Probably totally an overactive imagination mind, but it did feel really tight.
It will pass.

Good Luck during recovery, so days are tough. And morning boob...omg, I though it would never go

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] thank you so much for the piece of mind! That is exactly how I would explain the pain. I actually cried last night because it was so bloody painful felt like if it got any tighter it would rip which is why I was getting so worried!

Oh god I can hardly differentiate between morning and night anymore I haven't had one decent night sleep yet and I'm 5 days post op! I'm hoping I'll get one decent night sleep soon Cus I feel like a zombie. Is morning boob the pain you get in the morning? I have that so bad!

IFJG it should start feeling better from now on. I was the same too, think we worry about every little pain as we are so paranoid of infection. What pain killers are you taking ? Xx

Carrie I hope so! I've just had a shallow bath and washed my hair and that's made me feel a lot better. I'm on co codomol and maximum strength ibuprofen. They will run out after w couple more days I think! Xxx

They do a bit but only immediately after I take them, I wish they would bloody knock me out at night time!! I used to take kalms to help me sleep at night when I was stressed but I can't find my pack anywhere plus I'm not sure whether would be good idea to take them with all the other meds.  Xxx

Yeah I don't think you should take anything else with co codomol. I was taking them every 3 hrs as my pain was ridiculous. I would of taken anything. Hope you have a good sleep tonight. Xx
