My first ever (ever!) bra fitting Empty My first ever (ever!) bra fitting

Post by Contemptuous 8th November 2015, 7:18 pm

I'm five weeks post op tomorrow so I popped into Ann Summers today for a browse and ended  up having a bra fitting for the first time in my life! I'm a 34D like I hoped for (although I think  now I'd rather be more like an E haha). I now have two lovely new bras from the '2 for £30' range dance

Amazing! I wonder if they'll change size in the coming months.
I've been told not to wear underwired bras for 6 months post-Surgery which is ages - I'm trying not to get too excited about buying nice bras but it's difficult! Can't wait to treat myself to some sexy proper bras!

Congratulations 34D is a great size and you never know, once you've dropped and fluffed you could end up bigger. Xx

I've just brought my first wire although I haven't yet had the all clear to wear one. I just could help myself. I'm hoping to be aloud to wear it for a wedding next month, I'll be 4 months by then so fingers crossed x

It's amazing how something that used to sort-of upset me has become so pleasurable (even though I'm only allowed in the sports bra section at the moment!). Buying clothes has gone from stressful to pleasurable already- I can now actually buy from high street shops! My wallet is going to suffer!

I've not been told to avoid wires - i have lollipop scars so the underwire won't be sitting on my incisions anyway. I'm going to try not to buy anymore bras now just in case I do miraculously go up a size when they D&F! But the Ann Summers ones are a lovely fit :)

Awesome! And I love those bras, just bought another 4 of the non padded ones, so comfy! Ann Summers can be a little hit and miss with their fittings, but if it feels good, yey! Be sure to be fitted again at 6months, there's still a lot of changes to happen

I still keep looking at bras in my old size (instinctively!) when I'm having a browse. Although my last bra purchase was a very boring Shock Absorber so I can go to Zumba classes..
