A bit steep??

Hi, I've been for my first consultation for BA with a surgeon today. He suggested I needed uplifts too, which didn't surprise me really.
I was quoted a price of £7400 which I thought was quite expensive. Is it, or am I fooling myself into thinking I can get it cheaper?
I have an appointment on Monday with a surgeon at Spire. Their guide price is £5900 approx. does anyone know is this just for an uplift? Are implants included or will there be an increased cost.
Any info will be much appreciated xx

Hiya, when i was looking that sort of price was what I was had in mind. I'm not sure about spire, but i think it will be just for the uplift, and so implants will be extra. It is a lot of.money but if a lift is needed then there is no point just having implants as you will be back to where you started and will have to fork out again. Which surgeon did you see? X

Thanks for the reply. I saw Mr Mounir at MYA. I was only supposed to see the sales woman but he had a gap so I was a bit unprepared with the questions I wanted to ask. I think it's the right way to go because otherwise, if I'm dissappointed, it will mean 2 surgeries and more expense.
It's just the price I was expecting to pay suddenly increased by £2000. I was hoping I could get it a bit cheaper but if that's the price I suppose I'll have to pay it. I've got another couple to see so might be able to haggle a bit x

It sounds about right to me. For straight BA, commercial clinics are 4-5K, private 5-6K-ish. An uplift is a much bigger surgery, so 7-8 sounds about right. Obviously shop around, but be prepared for it to be on the higher size.

Hopefully some of our ladies who have had combined BA / uplift will be along shortly to offer some advice on costs etc,but as others have said if need be it would be better to save a little longer & have the best option for your desired outcome.
I had a standard BA at a Spire hospital & guide price I was quoted turned out to be what I paid in end for op.

Hi Im having a full anchor lift with implants so same op;
went to MYA and they quoted the same price
THG-£6100 (£400 discount usually offered so £5700)
HMG-£6400
Mr a Rezai private clinic in London- £6700

Personally I chose the surgeon at THG as I really liked him and didn't like the other surgeons at all. However I'm still concerned with reviews on THG as a company and I don't like the girl I'm dealing with there which has held me back from booking. I think £7400 is pricey but paid he's the surgeon you like then go for it. MYA will give you a discount too if u ask I'm sure

Update just to say I didn't actually visit Mr Rezai in London just got a quote so he may be a lovely man!

I'll have to look into types of uplifts. The surgeon drew on me and showed how it would look sort of but didn't mention what type of uplift it was. As I said I wasn't expecting to see a surgeon so didn't think to ask.
The quotes that you have seem a lot cheaper. I wouldn't mind paying £6000-£6500. I've read the link above and the quotes on that seem to be cheaper than mine too.
Mr Mounir seemed like a nice man but he's the first surgeon I've seen. I'm interested to know what the others have to say/quote x

I'm going with Mr Michael Payne I think from THG. An anchor lift is where you have a scar around the nipple then straight down and under the crease. A lollipop lift us around the nipple and straight down but not under the crease. Hope that helps. Good luck

I paid £6200 for uplift with implants last august, my surgeon is the president of baaps and works privately from bmi clinics. What you've been quoted does seem on the high side x

I paid £5600 in October for lollipop lift and anatomical allergan implants. My surgeon is baaps and Bapras and works through spire. I only had 2 quotes that included a lift, the other was around the 8000 mark..... X
