Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
You're up my neck of the woods and if you're interested I'd be very happy to recommend my surgein if you'd like.Blondie14 wrote:Thanks everyone for advice. Cookie I have just had a good look in mirror and looking at diagram I would say I am between 1 and 2 a slight lift I think would make me happy . I am defiantly going to look into that type of implant how do I go about meeting with a BAAPS surgeon I am going to spend the next couple of weeks getting my options and then I'm hoping to make decision mid feb! Xxx
He's an ex BAAPS president and one of the best in the UK. He will charge a fee of £150 and can be found I think the best closest to you would be his Chester/Warrington office. His name is Douglas McGeorge.
Please feel free to ignore though and choose whoever you feel best suits yourself Blondie. This is a big decision to be making and you want to get it right don't you.
If you'll find the BAAPS website HERE , click on 'find a surgeon' then clicking on the surgeons names that come up you can see their qualifications along with all their places of work. With any BAAPS surgein though you have an assurity that they're at the top of their game, they will have had or held a position of consultant within the NHS and all will have been trained to BAAPS standards. It hey're regulary checked on so if a surgeon is not up to standard - they're out the door!
Blondie14 wrote:Thanks I have just requested to book a consultation with my breast , hopefully I can get booked in this week or next then I will have a much better idea what my options are :-D this is another subject really but I don't suppose anyone knows how long surgeons like to wait for you to have stopped breast feeding I stopped breast feeding 4months ago so when I hope to he surgery will be 7months is that ok? Another question I have slight strect marks on my breast will implants help when I strect my skin they do disappear . Thanks in advance for your time and help :-D xx
MyBreast only use BAAPS surgeons so you're assrd youre going to be to be seeing a good surgeon and they'll only charge £25 no matter who you see.
7 months post- breastfeeding will be just fine to be having your Breast Augmentation.
Yes, I had stretch marks too after breastfeeding. My Breast Augmentation did help such a lot and they look so much better now that they're stretched than they did before. They'll really look so much better. Xx
Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Really appreciate everyone's help here! I will look them all up and arrange some consultations now :-D. I am Alittle wary of paying that price to see the surgeon if I'm not 100% going with them! I will have a good think about it though as it may work out better for me in long run.... Jen could you tell me name of your surgeon so I can look them up and I'll get back to you it does sound good to me :-D cheers girls xxxx.

As for the fee, it's well worth it, for having their time and expertise and you'll alwYs have direct access to them also.
And if you do choose to have surgery with the surgeon you've paid a fee with you can always ask if you choose to go with them if they'll deduct the dee from the final price.
it's worth an ask, if they do great it's a bonus x

Im in Birmingham and my surgeon uses these implants. He is baaps registered. A consultation with him is usually 125 but they are doing a thing where if u are referred to them by an existing patient you can have he consultation for free by mentioning my name :)
Mods, I hope that doesn't count as advertising??? Just trying to help.
Jen x
Thats great, still a little way for me to travel but i think by the information ive looked at today these are going to be the best type for me. Thanks for your help x

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Hi Hun, I had an uplift with implants almost six months ago. This was my second ba, had 300cc overs 12 years ago.
I really didn't want the scars from an uplift so my surgeon recommend a benelli uplift, also known as a purse string lift. Basically the nipple is moved up, stitched around and pulled tight and up, I had 615cc implants this time also overs.
My surgeon is baaps and I had done at a bmi hospital, I'm very happy with the result. I also had a nipple reduction.
Might be an option for you? Worth googling :-)

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
I had it done in Winchester at the Sarum road bmi hospital, my surgeon was Michael Cadier, google him he's a very impressive surgeon, was the president if baaps. He also did my first ba which I was very happy with, had no probs after 12 years just wanted to go bigger :-) obviously gravity and the fact I'm in my 40's had taken it's toll so he recommend an uplift as well x

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
You should be able to have full access to the PM feature here now Blondie. However, do be mindful of everyone's picture status which you can see under the avatar on everyone's profile. So...as a newbie here babe you're only able to request those showing the status 'anyone can request to see my pics" xx
Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Thanks cookie getting the hang of this now:-) I went to see Kaushik chakrabarty today and it went really well. Felt comfortable with him straight away and he really seemed to listen to what I wanted and suggested conical polyurethane implants . Really like the sound of these and think I'm going to something around a 32 DD but going to go back for another consultation to discuss more! I have still got a consultation with THG Monday so still going to go along and see what they but pretty sure I'll be going with my CHakrabarty felt so pleased and xcited wen I left there I just want my new boobs now haha! X x

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Awwww I'm glad things went well.
Don't expect to be able to have the use of polyeurothane implants at THG or possibly conicals either
I have a feeling you know where your heart lies though and you're simply going through the motions now. Which is a GOOD thing. You really should have that additional consultation before making up your mind.
You sound so much more confident now though. Xx

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Hi girls, so I went to consultation The hospital group renalto zacheddhu (sorry spelling likely to be wrong) he did his measurements and said I defo needed an uplift . I asked the patient co ordinator about the conical implants and she had never heard of them! I'm slightly worried now that two surgeons have said uplift and the surgeon I'm going with is confident I can get great results with conicals. I have grade two Ptotsis I don't want to end up with double bubble which I've been googleing! I am going to see my surgeon again dr chakrabarty and tell him all my worries and hopefuly he can reassure me! X x x

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Thg don't use conical or furries, so the pcc's won't be trained on them, unless theyve done they're own research (sad I know). Conicals tend to be a specialist item, so the surgeon will have done more training on the placement of them. It's very possible that the Conicals will be fine in place of an uplift, but the other two surgeons don't use this implant so suggest the uplift in its place. Ultimately you need to make the decision. Never hurts to see more surgeons if you can.

Re: Just implants when I have been advised uplift also
Ive made my mind up I'm sticking with dr chakrabarty from Aurora, yes I've found that the conical shape are quite specialised feel that they are the right option for me. I rang and spoke to my Pcc from aurora today and told her my worries about the two other surgeons recommendations and she said she would send my pictures over to their director Adrian Richards to get his opinion and he said also conical a would be a great option for me so that's give me piece of mind! I'm going for sizing and finalise everything Friday the 6th i can't wait ! My Pcc is calling me tomorrow with price and available dates hoping for end feb march time . Should really know the price already but apparently slightly different as they are new polyurethane implants also known as PURE and they need to check prices I'm just hoping they don't come back with a silly price I'm willing to pay decent money thou as I feel I'm in good hands x x x
