Little update

Hi girls
So I had my first appointment with the cosmetic nurse advisor today and feeling a bit overwhelmed so thought I'd share what happened with you all.
Firstly she reckons I'm an A cup when I was under the impression that I was a B so that was a bit of a shock! She also thinks I have tuberous breasts and so will need my implants under the muscle with possible nipple correction too. Cue terrified face. Definitely not what I had expected so feeling a bit overwhelmed that the surgery won't be quite as straight forward as I had thought. I am pleased though as she definitely thinks I'll have recovered in time for my wedding in May and will definitely be able to honeymoon! She thinks I am going to be needing approx 320cc's under the muscle which should take me to a full C/possible D and I am going to see the surgeon in 2 weeks time with possible D day being 2 weeks after that!!
Super excited but also super terrified now!! Xx

That's great news! Glad it went well! If I were you I'd try and see at least 1 other surgeon too....it's really good to get their advice and opinion (as the person who will be slicing you open!!). I found I was able to get appts quite quickly to see them.

Deffo see someone else, I'd like to see a surgeon aswell if I were you.

im pretty shocked actually how the cosmetic nurse mesasured you up and gave you that information. its a little bit strange coing from a spire hospital. Different spire hospitals must do different things hmm. Anyhow am sure will all go well once see surgeon.:)

I think if I'm right spire do a free consultation with a nurse, this is just to give you General info & advice on implants etc & what the procedure involves just to give you an idea of what to expect.
If you decide you want to proceed & have a BA , the consultation with the surgeon will give you more in depth information as they are the experts. This is where examination, measurements etc will take place & they will be able to advise on implant size/shape , placement etc to suit your individual shape & desired outcome.

Hi mirren001 - i went and saw dr sultan hussan few weeks back for my consultation i was also told would need it under the muscle as well as a possible nipple lift once the implants are in!! I was little like "woooooh" but felt the surgeon was so helpful and professional! I didnt feel nervous at all after speaking to him. We went through every little detail, the only thing im not sure on still is the shape of the implant! Teardrop or round :/ but i have gone ahead with booking my op with him for Febuary time eeeeekkkkk!!! Xx

Have heard only good things about Mr Hassan, from consultation ,to making himself available if there are things patients want to go over or are concerned about etc.
There are a good few ladies on here had him do their ops, if you type in his surname in the search bar top right on here it will bring up previous posts etc which you may find helpful.
February sounds a long time off but the rate that Christmas is fast approaching it will be here before you know it.      XXX
