Hi & Welcome to Breast Buddies Kate wavey ,
I personally haven't heard of the surgeon you mention, hopefully someone who has will be along to advise you shortly.
As you are pre BA you will find the Breast Augmentation Information useful, it has so much info & advice that will help you in your planning & help you understand what involved & to better prepare.
Any questions feel free to post away in the General Breast Augmentation section where you will get a better response as its never very long before the lovely ladies on here are around to answer  & advise you where they possibly can.
You may want to pop a post in the Newbies Say Hello  section too, so everyone can welcome you to the forum.
It is recommended that you have a few consultations to explore the options available to you & to help you find a surgeon you are confident to get you the best possible results.
As you are looking to have a BA/Uplift  I would look at consultations with BAPRAS/BAAPS registered surgeons, they will have undergone at least a six year training programme before applying to be become a member. These members are rigorously tested throughout the time they are members. They attend lectures and keep up with all the latest surgery techniques. This is all part of them being allowed to be a member. They will be on specialist registers and will have or held a consultant position within the NHS in reputable hospitals. Many of these surgeons as well as working within the NHS work privately either through plastic surgery companies or more commonly private hospitals such as Spire, BMI etc.
In having a good few consultations & doing lots of research beforehand you can go into having your surgery more confident with your choices and achievable outcome.
Best wishes & I look forward to following your boobie journey. XXX

Hi again,
There's a lot to get your head around , in taking your time & doing your research by the time it comes  to having your op you can feel confident that you have done all you can to get the best possible result.
A good starting point on here is the "I'm New Where Do I Begin"  section on the right hand side of here, there's 3 click me's which has lots of good advice.
I can't comment on Mr Hassan from personal experience but can say from seeing pics of other peoples results after op's with him  should I ever need a lift or when my boobs need done again for whatever reason, he is definately going to one of the surgeons I will be looking to have a consultation with as their results looked fab.
We are all here to offer support & advice should you need it &  there's no such thing as a silly question, so if there's anything you need to know or are not sure of just ask away.
Look forward to hearing how you get on.XXX

Hi Kate,

How are you getting on?

I am also interested in an uplift and implants. I spent days on here reading through all the threads, making lists of surgeons, checking their qualifications, feedback on here etc. It is such a mind field! I whittled mine down to a few surgeons, and decided to book my first consultation with Mr Hassan. The girls on here have given him very good feedback. I got a phone call soon after I sent an email through wishing to make a consultation, and it was only Mr Hassan himself! He was on the phone for about 10 minutes talking to me, and was incredibly pleasant.   I have booked in to see him middle of December and can't wait.

Do you mind if I ask why you are looking for an uplift and implants? Sorry to be nosey, I have lost a fair bit of weight, with a bit more to lose and just wondering if there is anyone else in the same boat!

Hiiii @drinkeroftea

Ahh its hard! I to have been ringing round and looking up different surgeons. Ah thats great that you got to speak to Mr Hassan! I spoke to a lady that has booked me in to see him 22nd of this month!!! Scaryyy did they ask you for a £100-£150 consultation fee? He does have very good reviews and all the qualifications you should need for implants and uplift...
Not at all.. Basically had 2 babies (theres 18 months between them) i was hugee pregnant but have now lost alot of weight. There like deflated ballons haha. On a serious note though i have never been more self concious then with how i look in that area now.
I am also a type 1 diabetic so i am still very wary with the medical side of it all. I feel i need the confidence in the team i choose that they can monitor my diabetes before i worry about the job its self! Xx

Hi Kate and Drinkoftea, Mr Hassan was the 3rd surgeon I went to see after a recommendation and his consultation outshone the others completely. He is extremely personable and spent 1 1/2 hours with me and didn't pass me off onto any other member of staff. I paid £100 fee which will be taken off the total cost of the op. It is usual for private surgeons to charge a fee and it ensures their time isn't wasted. I am booked with Mr Hassan for 4 Dec for a BA and
internal glandulopexy to correct mild ptosis. Keep us posted on what you decide x

Ooh how exciting, not long!

Just think how much it would improve your self confidence, it can have such a detrimental effect.   Euch, mine are so saggy and down to my waist but still big at 36G?! I don't understand!  Still got a bit of fat to lose, so maybe they will reduce a bit. Hate them! Just want to be happy when I take my bra off.

Keep us updated  as to how your consultation goes!

Hi @drinkeroftea and @lairyfairie
I went for my consultation a few weeks ago to see dr hussan and was so impressed by him! He made me feel so at ease and went through everything i wanted to know! Didnt feel rushed or pressured. He said i would need to have unders and a possible nipple lift once implants are in!! The only thing im not decided on is the teardrop or round!? I dont want them to look fake balls but then i dont want them to just be bigger than what they are not want them to lift Abit.
I have decided to go with him, even though i havent seen other surgeons but i felt he was so good and i had my heart set on him doing it beforehand with all the good reviews his had.

Hows your progress coming along?

I have been for a 2nd appt with Mr Hassan and am booked for my BA on 17th December. I feel so confident with him and he gives really honest advice, rather than giving me an outright choice he gave me a few options then his opinion of which would be the absolute best route. I really can't wait, so excited x
