Complications..

Hey ladies.. how do you know if you have a rupture without having to get a scan?
My lefty has drooped considerably! and theres like a hard bit left at the top - like the implant is stuck at the top but really hard and then my real breast tissue has dropped over it? does that make sense?? lol it looks so abnormal thats for sure.. it could be rotated and folded over maybe. I dont know!!

AND... my righty looks like its bottoming out!! my nipple has never been in the right position. When im lying on my left side you think my nipple should be facing the way im lying as in forward, well no its facing the ceiling pretty much - that should happen when im lying on my back shouldnt it?! Its more in my armpit then in the center :(

Im STILL waiting for my appointment with a surgeon!!!!!!!!! im getting so sick of it.

Any help would be muchly appreciated girls.

A scan is the only way to tell if you have a rupture for sure, hopefully you will get to see your surgeon soon!
Contact your surgeon & explain you are very concerned he may get you in quicker Hug

Ive been trying to contact them for the last couple of days :(
This is a different surgeon to my first.. maybe would it be best if i get my Doctor to write a referral to my old one? Its just that the hospital here is only a 5min drive lol and my original surgeon is 2 hours drive. Guess its not too bad though, its just im scared to go with the same one just incase i keep having complications. Arggggh boobs are complicated things haha

Scan is the only way to be 100% sure. I would definitely keep on trying to get an appointment for as soon as possible, ring them every 2hrs if need be. I know its tempting to see a closer dr, but it might be worth sticking with your original one, as that's who your aftercare should be with. Maybe try for both and take the earliest you can yet. But be persistent, do not let them fob you off.

I agree an mri scan is the only way to know for 100% sure. I would keep trying to get an appointment. Hopefully your surgeon will be able to shed some light on the problem.

Hi, honey!! I'm so sorry to hear you're experiencing all these complications :( BIG VIRTUAL HUGS TO YOU FOR STARTERS!!

Like the other girls have said you really need to have a scan to check for ruptures or abnormal scar tissue that could be causing the hardness on the top left of your breast. You also need to see your surgeon asap because it sounds like you're experiencing quite a few worries and concerns.

Remember that you've paid for your aftercare so you are 100% entitled to receive this and soon! Contact your surgeon and tell him you're extremely worried.

I really hope you get this sorted soon, lovely. I'm sorry you're feeling so down about your boobs :(

hi girls.. ive left messages, emailed - still to no avail. Im gonna get my mum to have a go. Shes extremely persistent into getting what she wants (shes dutch lol) so hopefully that will work.

Will let you know if i hear anything!! fingers crossed!! x
