I hate them! They are getting worse with age :( droopy and facing different ways!! What are my chances of revision? I paid to have them covered for the life of the Implant but what reasons do they accept for revision surgery? I cant afford to have them done again yet and would they do an uplift in revision?? Xxx

What kind of implants did you have Pammie85? Have they always been like this or is it new? Also, when you say droopy do you mean the dkin is drooping off of the implant or the whole breast including the implant is drooping? So sorry to hear you are having issues but I know how it feels, I am having paranoia issues and I have am four weeks post reop after my original BA two years ago resulted in rotation problems.xx

Oh I see. I have natrelle responsive partial unders this time round. They look great in your avi hun. Have you contacted your surgeon? Would be worth getting a check up as if your surgeon can decide if there is a problem then you'll be in a better position to find out if you are entitle to a revision or if you have to pay. I'm sure one of the moderators will be along soon they will have much more knowledgeable advice for you. I paid for my revision as it was not annecessity or a problem as such it was just because I didn't like them as much anymore and the rotation was irritating. Cookie or one of the others will be able to offer you some solid advice hun x

Hi Pammie! Great to see you back, but sad to read you're not happy babe Hug

I hate the honesty I have to give, but I'm sure you'd just rather me give it you straight Pammie.

Your boobs were always going to be a larger version to what you had before babe. This is how breast augmentation works. The nipple height you had pre-op will always be the same post-op, so if they looked droopy pre-op, then as you said... You're just going to have a larger version of that and unfortunately because you agreed to the BA and the surgery plan you won't be entitled to a free re-op for 'aesthetic purposes'

This isn't deemed to be the surgeons fault Pammie. The surgeon would have asked what you wanted and discussed the points of concern with you and just looking back over your posts you'd actually been back to reassure yourself about the plan 5 times and your main concerns were the asymmetry and that they were small, so it would seem and I feel terribly dreadful saying this knowing how upset you are Pammie that your surgeon gave you what you asked for. Sweetheart.

You would only be entitled to a re-op in the event of you suffering a complication, or through a surgeons error and it would seem that you dont fall into either category hun.

Like I said, I feel absolutely awful saying that.... But, that's how it is hun.

Maybe if you see your surgeon and he personally agrees to revision this would help you Pammie, so I hold that hope for you hun and do please stay in touch and let us know how it goes. Xx

def go and see your surgeon and explain what you dont like but if its just the look then prob no surgeon would do a FOC reop for this, do you think that they have bottomed out, does this give that look Cookie? or are they just not the way you wanted them to look

let us all know what happens xx

When you bottom out Tink, you'll have more lower pole than upper and your nipples will be high on the breast, almost looking upward.

What seems to have happened with Pammie is that now her breasts have fully healed to their natural form, so the skin and muscle if she had partials has now fully relaxed allowing for a more natural look and feel.

The only way to remedy the look would really be to have an uplift if its affecting Pammie so much 'from her description' but she's best discussing this with her surgeon and seeing if he could do anything for her and if not free, possibly price the additional costs to cover an uplift if this was something Pammie wanted to consider.

Would you consider an uplift Pammie? Xx

Nope, no sagging at all. The most common cause is over disection of the pocket so the implants sit low in the breast, so a pocket revision to lift the implants sorts that out.

Age, pregnancy and weightgain/loss are all the things that make our boobs sag.

But... If your ptosis is let's say, grade 2 on the diagram below for example and the surgeon wants to fill the sag with an implant

Over a year post op and want revision..... 54b070f96bdd33afa5a8a9cfdf533e54_zpsfb4533b8

Initially whilst the skins freshly stretched and tight it will hold everything up, but as gravity takes hold and everything starts to relax, the nipple height will remain the same (unless an anatomical or a conical is used to give a slight lift to the nipple) you're going to result in a larger version of what you had before.

Some ladies are very happy with this. They just wanted bigger boobs. But some ladies are unhappy with the result they have because they hoped for more of a lift. But to have perky boobs when you have ptosis to get the very best results you'd need a lift.

But if you're young and the ptosis is mild its more likely they'd prefer to avoid any additional scarring and get what they can from just having an augmentation. Xx
