Rejected :(
I applied via the nhs for an uplift with implants and they rejected my case even though I had a breast surgeon, GP, two other specialists and a psychologist all supporting my claim. I have very severe ptosis..so much so that you can actually see my chest muscles as the skin has sagged to such a degree and for a 26 year old woman it's horrific to have breasts that look like a 90 year olds. The reason I am the way I am is due to the nhs in the first place because of clinical negligence. Absolutely disgusted and distraught. :(

Clinical negligence? What did they do?

Re: Rejected :(
I'm sorry to hear that hun, have you asked about their appeal process, I know you have the right to appeal this decision. It can take a while but it may be worth trying.
Re: Rejected :(
It's complicated really but I basically nearly died due to clinical negligence by the nhs when they failed to diagnose my appendicitis even though I was rushed to a and e by ambulance on doctors orders to investigate suspected appendicitis as they didn't do the necessary tests and told me to go on the holiday we had planned only a few days later. Then I was in a foreign country and it burst and spread poison all round my body to the point where I was actually dying. I had only a few hours left to live and the surgeons didn't know what was wrong and ended up having to cut me open and drain all the poison out. I spent my entire holiday in a dirty hospital where they didn't speak English and my condition was deteriorating and some horrendous things went on so I ended up with post traumatic stress disorder, a huge scar, major self esteem issues, physical health problems because of it all and possible infertility etc..a combination of all these things led to major weight gain and depression and anxiety. Now I have managed to get my life back on track and lose all the weight I gained via diet and exercise and I am left with an absolutely disgusting saggy body covered in a huge scar. So the negligence wasn't directly related to my boobs but I wouldn't be the way I am now without all that crap! So sorry for the essay xxx

Re: Rejected :(
aw bless you cupcake, ive tried for almost 10 years to get my asymmetry corrected on the nhs but ive given up now, ive never even got past the GP which really annoys me coz i dont see how they can make a decision, it should at least go to a surgeon and then if they reject me at least ive got through. the last GP i saw was lovely tho and said theres basically no chance because of funding cuts, that they are not even helping those who need reductions for back pain so no hope for me at all! ive saved for ages though and am having a private consult this year.
the only thing i would say is that by going private you can have more control over the result, i.e. if you want to go bigger as well. originally i just wanted the breasts evened out but seeing as im paying ive decided i want a nice pair of juicy boobs lol, obv in proportion with my frame but a nice big pair nonetheless! with the nhs you wouldnt be able to pick and choose so at least private will give you a better option :) xx
