Can I have plastic surgery? Empty Can I have plastic surgery?

Hi Dr Alvi,
I am just considering BA and before I go any further I was wondering is it going to be a problem that I have a very minor mitral valve leakage and irregular heart rhythm (also very mild, I had two episodes of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation 10 years apart from each other) and I am prescribed by my cardiologist bisoprolol and aspirin. My cardiologist is not concerned with my condition, I am OK to exercise as much as I like, cannot have much caffeine and alcohol though. I lead a very healthy life style, non smoker, eating healthy, exercising 3-4 times a week, I am 36 years old. I do not have any other medical conditions apart from mentioned above. If I came to consult you today would you accept me for a surgery?

Basically- yes, I think you would be fine. Any of the "cosmetic surgery companies" would not accept you- anything out of the ordinary they avoid. I would need to chat to you and asses things, but I imagine we would be happy to look after you.

regards

Thank you very much for your reply Dr Davison. Do you consult/operate in north at all? I am located in Sheffield and ideally would like to have operation somewhere not too far...
