"Ripping" sensation
Hi Girls, Im 4 months PO and have started excersizing again.
Not been doing anything too mental but I have noticed, in my top left breast, theres a sensation of ripping, like my skin ripping sometimes if i bend down in the shower, or jump, or move too fast, I have to take my bra off slowly to combat this feeling...
Any ideas? xx

I feel a pulling sensation quite often, I'm practically walking round full time with my arms down by my sides afraid to move them lol. I seem to be more aware of it in the shower but Im choosing to think its just because I'm not used to the gravity pull yet and they feel weird anyway.

Hi Lian,
Yes it takes some getting used to early PO, you feel quite protective of your boobs and dont want to make any sudden movements incase you "hurt" them haha! but this is quite a painfull sensation im getting, im not sure if i may be bottoming out aswell on the one boob xx

Is it on the same side that is hurting? Can you request to see your surgeon again?

Re: "Ripping" sensation
I've just tried to read up a little on it and looked at pics. I seems that it can happen anytime, but that it can and does happen early on if the pocket that the surgeon made was too large.
I obviously have not had experience, so I'm not really qualified to answer, but I would say its best to get them to look ASAP and take pics so that if it does get worse and it is bottoming out it is all noted and if it needs repairing they will find it difficult to say it isn't by error of the surgeon

Re: "Ripping" sensation
I've had a good hunt around online and I can't really see anything that links pain and ripping sensations to anything other than the healing of nerves. I saw one post relating pain with bottoming out but a lot of the surgeons that answered said bottoming out doesn't cause pain.
I think that worrying will make this worse so make THG work for their money and go see them x x x

Re: "Ripping" sensation
I have overs and haven't experienced this sensation myself, but then I dont tend to exercise if I can help it (it's like torture, but I feel great after doing it! go figure). However it doesn't mean it isn't a normal sensation, as we can experience different things. It could be a nerve or it could be scar tissue rubbing. But just to be on the safe side I would go and see your surgeon, it doesn't matter that you seen him three weeks ago, just insist you need to see him again as you are experiencing pain and you feel one of your implants may be bottoming out. Even if it is nothing, there is nothing like reassurance from your surgeon (trust me).
Re: "Ripping" sensation
Thank you girls. Maybe i have overexerted myself. But I got it just then walking down the stairs!
