Two Boobies again YAY
Well after a serverve infection 5 weeks post op i had to have my lefty removed it was gutting :( i waited 3 months & i now have had my lefty put back after a small delay of my surgery being postponed due to unforseen circumstances(just my luck) so now i have two boobies and thought i would be overjoyed but all i can constantly think is that im gonna get another infection :( i have noticed redness around the incision site it is warm to touch but no warmer than the rest of my body and i feel fine, its prob just me being over sensitive as i so dont want it to happen again!!
Did anyone else have redness of the skin?Im 10 days post op now.

Hi hun ,so pleased you have 2 boobies now You are bound to be very worried about getting another infection. Did you get anti biotics ? My wounds were a little bit warm after about a week but I did nt get an infection. If you are very worried you should call your clinic to be on the safe side. Let us know how you get on xx

Re: Two Boobies again YAY
The feelings you're going through Lainy are very normal sweetheart
I think for those of us who have had an unplanned re-op due to complications after surgery you carry a fear that things go right for you this time and that does kind of spoil the enjoyment you thought you'd have after your revision.
It's a horrible feeling and you do become paranoid over the slightest thing. I know it was definately that way for myself. All the original fears I had after my first surgery all seemed to magnify after my seconf tenfold sending me crazy and convincing myself things were all going wrong again. it's the worst feeling ever and I really do feel for you Lainy having been there too
What you have described does sound normal Lainy, but no body knows your body like you do babe, so if you feel overly concerned this, don't fight that feeling. go with it and request to be seen babe. It's 5 minutes of your surgeons/clinic nurses time to take a look for you and you have paid good money for your after-care to take advantage of this, so don't be afraid to use it anytime you feel you need to hun.
Congratulations on having 2 boobies!!!! xxx
