2nd Referral from GP - Help
Hi everyone, I'm new here and this is my first posting so bare with me.
Last week I went to see my GP who has agreed to refer me again for BA on the NHS. I say again as I managed to pluck up the courage 4 years ago, after having my little girl, to go to my GP. At the time she referred me and I met with a physcologist. After the physcologist meeting a letter came back to my GP stating that I was showing signs of depression and anxiety and therefore rejected my referral. Of course I am suffering from depression and anxiety with regards to my non existant breasts!!!??? Anyway GP has agreed to refer me again. Just waiting to see what happens next.
I am so nervous about meeting a phycologist again incase I say the wrong thing again. I was trying to be as honest as I could at the last meeting but I just don't know what to do. Anyone any advice who's gone through a similar experiance on the NHS?

Hello and welcome to BJSF mrs mac
If you read through some of the threads in this NHS section of the forum I'm sure you'll find a lot of help. Sars is a member that comes to mind who had a problem with a psychologists report, I might be wrong though, but it's worth searching her name in the memberlist, going to her profile, go to her stats and then search her posts babe if you find nothing on the forum.
Let me know if you have no joy and I'll see if I can help you out lovely.
Lots of luck with the process hun, I'd thought BAs on the NHS had been totally refused but we've had quite a few ladies join recently waiting on NHS surgery after being approved so there is definately still hope babe. Hang in there! xxx
