revision on NHS, bottoming out :((((

Post by eve83 on 16th April 2012, 9:05 pm

Hi girls

I have had my op 10 weeks ago, and I am not happy at all.

My breat are asymmetrical, very uneven :( as fas as I read here and there, my right one has bottomed out and nipple is higher then left one, but the breast itself is lower( dropped) then right one. Scar is visible etc.

Left one its seems ok, but very small for my implants 325cc ( maybe 8" wide, B cup ?)

My question is anyone of you had reoperation(revision) on NHS ?

Are you sure you've bottomed out and it's not just that one breast has recovered before the other?

At 10 weeks post-op you are still VERY early in your recovery babes so try not to panic

If your surgeon has 'diagnosed' your breast has bottomed out then I'm sure a re-op would be scheduled for revision surgery, but this may not be until you are at least 6 months post-op. That's the length of time 'most' surgeons like to leave things to give your body a good chance of recovery first from the last op.

If you haven't been diagnosed then it might be that one of your breasts is recovering quicker than the other. I know mine did and my boobs travelled all over my chest before settling into position which was well after 3 months lovely. I also had my nipples in different positioning and they just looked, well... odd! Not a bit like I imagined them to look. But I waited and waited, keeping my surgeon informed of my progress at each visit and then it really was like magic! lol, one day I just woke up and see a huge difference and it took a matter of just a couple of days, each day visibly seeing them getting better and better till they looked great!

I'm really hoping for the latter for you lovely and please let us kno how you get on. xx

I had my surgery done privately sweetheart...

You're very welcome to PM your picture details if you'd like sweetness and I ill give an honest opinion. But I'm no surgeon babe, my opinion will only be what I 'think' and not a diagnosis, that can only come from your surgeon sweetheart. xxx
