Replacing Breast Implants Empty Replacing Breast Implants

I know I've just had my BA but thinking long term I would probably replace them after 10 years to be on the safe side. I was wondering if once you've had unders could a surgeon replace implants with overs and vice versa? Or if you decide you dont want them anymore would the muscles shrink back to its original size? I know the skin stays stretched but was wondering what happens with muscle.

I would love overs one day too, i know Bettyboop on here has had unders then switched to overs without any problems. I read a surgeons reply to a question about that:

Question
I was going to downsize but now I just want to explant. I don't want to worry about keeping up with exchanging implants and what not. I know I will have scars but I'm scared about how my muscle will heal (since my implants are under my muscle). How do the muscle's heal after explantation?
Answer
Your muscle should heal up back on the chest wall if all of the old capsule is removed with the explantation. How much the breast shrinks down just depends on how large the implants are, how much loose skin is left, etc. Some women need a lift after explanting due to the continued loose skin, etc.

Just because of the cleavage issue hun, i have a big gap i dont like and its because they're unders and i started so flat. Maybe after i have kids if i need a reop i'll ask about switching to overs. I just love the close cleavage look, it looks more natural because real boobs can touch, unlike mine! x
