1 year waiting list to see psychiatrist?! :(
Hello everyone! :)
I hope you are all well?
Sorry I haven't been on much, my poor baby has been rather poorly with his milk intolerance so I have been back and forth to the hospital. Hes much better
Now though! Still haven't received a letter back from the doctors so I called them and they confirmed they have referred me to a psychiatrist but when I called them the woman told me she couldn't find my name and it was approx a years waiting list. :(
Did anyone else have to wait this long? I may give them a call again and see
If my name comes up! Xxx

Hiya! I'm pretty sure I had to wait 9 months for my appointment, I Thimphu got the letter with my date after a couple of months though but it still felt ages waiting for the appointment! I went for my appointment but was then told I had to wait a year as I had just had my first son and no one had changed my appointment from when I told them I was pregnant!! So I've had alot of waiting around but it's been so worth it :)

Hi Gingerbread,
I first got put on the waiting list over a year and a half ago and I've just had the go ahead for the op just waiting on my date now. The time flew in alot quicker than i imagined.

The wheels can sometimes move slowly with the nhs but hopefully they are turning.

Hey Hun
I had my breast augmentation on the nhs just over 6 months ago I waited a year to see a psychologist but after getting past that point I had my surgery 3 months later.
It is a long time waiting because its constantly on your mind :(
Hope you don't have to wait to long
