Bra sizes are very confusing!!!!

Post by Karen1982 on 15th June 2011, 9:59 pm

Been reading alot abotu Bra Sizes on here so decided to have a look on the internet and I'm more confused than ever, some say measure with your bra on others say with it off, some add to the band size etc again others don't.

So I measured myself this morning with my least padded bra on and it is as follows:

Underbust 30inch
Overbust 34inch

So what does this make me???? xx

hey karen, i think this makes you about a 30D but of course different styles & brands give slightly different styles so the best way to find out is to get fitted properly not measured xx

Its best not to follow information from the internet, but to go into a shop like bravissimo or debenhams and get them to fit you into a bra that gives you the right fit and good support. x

A 30D is the same as a 34B however if you tried to wear a 34B the wires would probably sit wrong and the band gives zero support. When you hear the words D cup it sounds huge but, it really isn't.
