Post by jen86 on 2nd May 2011, 9:11 pm

hi, i was wondering if it aids or speeds up the amount of time it takes for my muscle to relax so my implant drops, by using heat pads?? I had partials so i no it normally takes a lot longer with unders but what about partials? they are feeling much softer already, and i can move them quite a bit with my hands, but will it help the muscle/ thanks xx wavey

I haven't heard of heat pads helping and hardly anyone actually has 'unders' sweetness unless they're having reconstructive surgery.

You're just 12 days post-op sweetness and it's going to be a while yet, whether you had partials OR overs before the breast would drop and settle.

I'm talking between 6 weeks and 3/4 months and that's just the start!, they still have a way to go before you see the end result! Mine settled at 12 weeks post-op (3 months) and I have overs, but didn't have full movement and softness till about 9 months post-op!

You just need to be patient babe. If you're still suffering with swelling which you may well still be at just 12 days post-op, try using icepacks (or a bag of frozen rice or peas) across the tops of your breasts, it really does help to ease them. xx

Aw hun patience is not a virtue of mine either lol. The only way to aid a speedy recovery is to rest, get lots of sleep and eat well. They will drop when they are ready.
