Nipple piercing

Hi my other half is a body piercer and you would think he would know this question. I had my nips pierced tears before my BA. Then had to take them out for the op. They've healed up now. My nips I mean. Does anyone know how soon after the op I can get them pierced again?

That's a good question!! I had mine done a few years ago and swore i would never do it again because it hurt so bad but since half boob is numb from my BA i might consider doing it again! I will ask my ps next week when I can do it and let ya know what he tells me :)

I got mine done 2 yrs ago (pretty much exactly to the day!) and they have never properly healed. They have always oozed the clear plasma type stuff that goes crusty (if you know what I mean) like when you first have a piercing done. They are the only piercings I've had that have not healed properly.

When I was having consultations I was told that I needed to take them out for the op and would be allowed them back in once the scars have completely healed, otherwise they pose infection risk. If your scars are completely healed, but your nip piercings have too, then I don't see why you can't get them re-done.

Unfortunately I still havent got the money to have my boobs done, but when I do I'll be taking my peircings out. Not decided yet whether to get them re-done once scars have healed or not :/

Well I asked my doctor about this.. And he strongly advised me NOT to get them pierced again.. He said it opens up a whole can of worms. He said that they will be very prone to infection and any type of infection would/could cause serious damage.. I dont remember all exactly what he said but it was enough to convince me not to do it shrug

all i can say is....you girls are HARDCORE!!!! i cant imagine anything more scary! wow, there are quite a few girls who have their nipples peirced too! :) :pale:

Hi sorry I haven't replied to say thanks for the info but I've been away. That's done it for me I told my partner to keep away with those piercing needles for good. Lol. After the probs I've had I won't be taking the risk. Also if anything did gou wrong it would probably affect my aftercare package. So I think I'll stay nipple pierced free! Xx

Oh bummer!!! I really like my nipple piercings!!!! Luckily I can still enjoy them until I have my boobies done, seeing as I have to save :(

Ah well, once they are done I'll just get other places pierced, and some more tats too!!!!! haha
