milk coming out of nipples

i was massaging my boobs to day when i noticed milk coming out of my nipples my right boob has got a lot more tender and harder over the last few days there was more milk coming out of that nipple the left is starting to drop and is quite soft now has anyone else had this happen i now im not pregnant i was sterilized over 10 years ago . im not going to massage as that will make it worse i will speak to ps tomorrow but untill then any advice to put my mind at rest would be great

Hun I started lactating again after surgery not loads but enough for me to reach for the testing kit. Its to do with the trauma your breasts have been through. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes offensive looking or smelling. If in doubt ring your clinic for a bit of reassurance x

I know they don't tell you any of this at the clinic do they! thats why this site is so brill someone has usually been through it and you are very welcome xx

Oh my, that one I have never heard of, thank you for sharing Terena. This is good to know, I think I would be a bit surprised too. Does it only happen if you have been pregnant before?

This happened to me last week- well at least I think it did!

I was massaging my boobs watching tv (as u do) and it was sort of see through/whitey colour came out my right nipple- I thought it was moisturizer and thought nothing of it- got in the shower and soon realised I didnt use moisturizer I've never been pregnant before and am not now so unsure wh 4 months post op it would start now- maybe as I am going through other health issues its all linking up. Who knows! Maybe its my old nipple piercing deciding to randomly weep- !
