New lump Empty New lump

Post by LittleOne 17th December 2010, 12:32 pm

Ok so i'm 2 months post op after having PIP's replaced. One was ruptured and I had an enlarged lymph node removed from my left armpit, theoretically enlarged due to silicone.
I've just felt my armpit and there's a new lump :pale:
Not as big as the one that was removed and it feels like it's in a similar place. It doesn't feel like it's associated with my scar and moves like the last one.
I can't do this again.
I'm struggling with my depression as it is at the moment, I just feel quite panicy.

Awww babe c'mere New lump 571992

I hope this might bring you some comfort babe, but I too had another raised lymph node under my left armpit, it's still there now but I'm told by both my thorasic surgeon and my cosmetic surgeon that it's nothing to worry about.

You should still have it checked out hun I just thought it may help you to know that after having nodes removed due to a rupture, I have experienced the same and am fine. xxx
