My boobs dont look big enough!

Post by Ruthylicious on 28th November 2010, 5:24 am

I'm just over a week post op, I had Natrelle round 470cc overs, and my boobs look hardly bigger than they used to!
I was a 34b/c and now I'm a 34dd, but under t shirts etc, they honestly don't look hardly different to what they used to when I wore a gel bra etc...
I feel a little sad that I've gone through all this and there doesn't seem to be a big difference... when we talk about our boobs 'settling', this means they will go down even smaller, right?

No settling & fluffing normally means they go/look bigger :-)
Weather they increase in size or not is different to each individual person but they always change shape and usually look bigger as they settle, some girls go up 3/4 cup sizes some just change shape and look bigger but measure the same. Your only a week so your really really early 470 is quite a big implant so i'm sure you have lots of fluffing to do. I felt the same at first mine felt flat and then few months on they seem to get bigger and bigger!
Plus im guessing your still in your sports bra? they are unflattering under clothes xxxx

Far too early to tell size, mine looked small straight after my op then they changed loads over the weeks and months. They never went smaller. Plus sports bras dont help at all.

Awww babe, those dreaded sportsbra aren't at all flattering to the breast, you just wait till your breasts have settled, filling out the lower pole and allowing your breasts to protrude forward, they'll look fabulous in normal bras!... Just give your new boobs some time to heal hunni.

Take a look at this thread HERE too babe, give the pics a moment to load, it shows the changes that occur between new boobs and fluffed boobs. Hope it helps to better understand sweetness. xxx

1 week post op is far too early to know how they will look hun. Give yourself time to heal and fluff.

Yeah, I suppose I am being impatient.. it's just I was told they would be bigger at first due to swelling, and would go down in time... well I was worried cuz theyr'e not as big as I wanted in the first place and the thought of them getting smaller irritates me!
Thanks for all your replies, I will try to be patient and hope they fluff into bigger boobies!

Its frusterating being stuck in the horrible sports bra... give it time, most of us who feel how you feel seem to end up very happy with our size once we fluff and get to wear a normal bra.

Like littlewisher said, 470 is a decent size implant I am sure you will end up with good size boobies flowers

I'm sure the size will 'fluff' out as you ladies have said, it's just I keep seeing the pics on various users avatars and their boobs look way bigger than mine even though they've had less cc than me...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a visit from the fluff fairy!

I'm sure you will feel differently in a few weeks hun but don't get bogged down comparing yourself to other people they may have had more/less than you to start off with. Mine changed loads over the first few weeks and what you get straight after the op is nothing like what you will end up with. Patience is a virtue you will feel a whole lot better when you get out of the sports bra don't forget the objective of a sports bra is to hold you in and down so has a minimising effect. Roll on the new bras xx

Peachy, i was same size as you to start with, but i had bigger implants (470cc), but yours look MUCH bigger in your avatar pic and you say your a F, i'm only filling a DD.. this is what I mean, I'm confused why mine are so much smaller... it's almost as though the surgeon put half the size he said he would in!

Hey Chick, I am 2 weeks post op and had 525 overs high profile to take me from a 34-36B to a DD-E cup.....well bad news is that i am only a C-D and i am gutted....my boobs dont even look as big as the implant and had to ask for a investigation to happen. The swelling has gone down in my right boob and this is a C cup :-( it doesnt even fit in my 34D sports bra :-(. xx

Aw hun honestly give it a little longer and I'm sure you will feel a bit happier. I have been told by a few people that mine look big for the size I had. I went up 4 cup sizes after my BA. I can only speak from my own experience but I had quite alot of breast tissue at the top of my boobs and they always looked very full at the top even pre ba. Just because you wear the same bra size as someone doesn't mean your boobs have the same volume. My friend is a 32E naturally and her boobs look way bigger than mine. My other friend wore the same pre ba bra size as me and my boobs were quite a bit bigger than hers. Its a mystery to me but your surgeon is supposed to know whats best so you put your trust in them to give you what you are asking for. Did you take any pictures in to your surgeon or did you just say what size you wanted to be? x

hey peachy, yeah i took pictures in with me and advised that i am a burlesque dancer so they have to look natural. I am just going to wait like people said and see what happens...its just wierd that they dont even look the size of the implant neither know implant and my breast tissue. My natural ones were quite full anyway. They are feeling very tight and achy today.... :-( xx
