Well had six week check

Post by jay1983 on Thu Oct 07, 2010 7:13 am

Felt it was quite rushed and that they were not listening to my concerns about their being disposible stitches still there and scabs where the nurse hacked at them to get the disposible stitch out. The nurse was like "Well thats you discharged then!" My mum went back and spoke to her and surgeon came out and been told I can go back if needed.

I wasn't told about what bras I could now where or if I could massage or use bio oil.

So after my mum and me went to the Metrocentre and I bought a lovely set of non-wired bras in debenhams. Nice fit and supportive too!

I spoke to my surgeon about disposable stitches as i had one spit out. He said the guidelines say they should be gone in 6 weeks but he and other surgeons have found them still there after 2 years!

I would write a list of the questions you felt you didn't get time to ask hun and either email them or give them a quick ring xx
