pulled muscle, any advice?

Post by izzie37 on 15th September 2010, 8:32 am

pulled my muscle today, its hurting a bit now, so cant phone my surgery (be closed), it jolted quite a bit, and its on my left where i get the most annoyance...

my dog pulled me very hard which is how i came to jolt it, it wasnt her fault she was being attacked by a rather viscious yorkie...lol and shes an american bulldog so shes quite strong, i had no choice but to restrain my dog as the yorkies owner was a bit of a sap, and i didnt fancy the yorkies chances too much if my pooch got cheesed off with it hanging off her neck...so i ended up with a pulled boob, its aching quite a bit now, taken painkillers and that so not sure what else to do...

anyone else ever pulled a muscle?...hope i havent done any lasting damage :tears:
xx

ive pulled muscles before and the only thing you can do is try and rest it, but still keep active if you know what i mean. Take painkillers if you need x

rest the muscle but don't stop using it or it will get worse. take painkillers and wait for it to get better.

Hot bath or hot water bottle on your boob can also help with a pulled muscle, they can be quite sore, but I'm sure you have done no damage, if your worried you could wear the sports bra for extra support for a few days
