push up bras

Post by bumblebabe on 26th August 2010, 9:43 pm

when can you start wearing these, im over 2 months po,
i have brought a couple and they felt terrible, it felt like my boob was sitting on a hard lump and it made my boobs look all silly, my breast doesnt mould around them like they used to pre op,

im all soft now so thought it would be ok,

Hiya bumble,

In your profile pic, your bra looks a little big, maybe you're wearing the wrong size and that's making your uncomfortable?
Why don't you nip into Marks & Spencer and get measured properly?

My nurse said that I'd have to wear a sports bra for upto 3 months post-op, so maybe you just need a little more time? xxx

What advice have you been given by your surgeon about wearing underwires?

I was 3 months post-op before I got the OK. It took me a while to feel comfortable in underwires hun, I literally had to ease myself into them, starting with wearing for just a couple of hours a day and building the time up from there till I was comfy to wear all day.

You really still are early days too and although you feel your boobs are soft, believe me hun, they will get softer and look more and more natural as time goes on.

I'm 8 months post-op and comparing to my old 3 year old boobs mine are still sitting a little high and still have more softening to go.

You look great in your avatar though sweetness, it may just also be the case of finding a bra that suits your shape. I can't wear Asda bras as the wires kill me! and my boobs look odd in those so I steer away from those... xx

I have a great M&S balcony push up bra bumblelady, had to try on millions tho before i found the right one. All the styles i used to wear now either dont fit right or look terrible, could never wear a balcony before and now they look excellent :)

the bra in my avatar was totally wrong, i was wearing a 34dd for ages, then got measured in bravisimo and now wear 32ff,

yeh maybe im not as soft as i think i am, i will wait a little longer,

my ps said i was fine from 6wks po to wear underwires, they felt fine really, some cheap rubbish makes like primark felt bad and ridged, i only now shop in bravisimo or debenams,
im eager to get that killer clevage one day,

ive changed my avatar now, i nearly have a cleavage without a pushup bra but they dont touch,
better picture than that silly blue bra that didint fit,

if i buy a bra that has higher underwire like balconetts they seem to dig in my cleavage quite a bit as my boobs are quite close together and cant fit in 2 wires together, so plunge bras and the one showing is all i can wear
natalia that is a killer cleavage in your avatar,
