how pressure much can implants take?

this is going to be a strange question,
i was wondering what sort of pressure can they take, i.e laying on your front, roller coaster rides, and the embarresing one a over excited husband that keeps squeezing them and groping them, Blush

i am soo paranoid still that they are going to burst, when hubby get all excited i think they are like water balloons and will pop under the pressure,
i tell him not to be so rough and he says they can handle alot more than i think,
any one else got a over excited husband they just wont leave them alone?

ooh good question - I've been wondering about this too! Hubby hasn't really gone for it yet, but it's still early days for me. I worry about my twins climbing all over me tho - sometimes they can be a bit boystrous (sp) and dig their elbows into my boobs or flop their heads onto my chest when they come over for a cuddle.

well i went on the velocity and corkscrew at flamingoland,and felt fine just had to hutch my boobs up on the velocity once i was strapped down lol,the overexcited husband issue,as much as you can take.my pc stood on them in my consult and she weighed 14 stone

When my implant ruptured I was asked two questions only - had I been involved in a car accident and had I been on roller coaster type rides, i had been involved with neither, no accident an hate the funfair.

Based on being asked just those questions, I should imagine implants are most at risk of rupturing due to a quick sharp hard impact from the seatbelts covering your boobs, but that's not to say this will always happen, on the whole implants are very robust, just to say that for the majority of ruptures they see, these must be the main reasons.

Everyday things are fine though and your implants are very strong, I was even told that a surgeon at the Abbey Pines hospital in Manchester had driven his car over one and it was still intact! so laying on your front and having groping hubby haha love that! is just fine sweetie. xx

Just having a giggle about groping hubby thats just what mine will be like he keeps groping me now and using the excuse he is just saying goodbye to them.

In all the research I did unless you are unlucky :( and one of the small percentage who just have a faulty implant the most likely thing to cause a rupture is like Cookie says a car accident or such like impact. I love the roller coaster and there has been a thread about themeparks before that made me think about it and I will be giving up that one once I've had the boobies done as I don't want to risk anything damaging them.

LOL about driving a car over one though what a blokey thing to do its like a top gear challenge .

Know what you mean about the kids though Minxie sometimes I feel like I'm their own personal trampoline the way they bounce on and of me, that will definately be out of the picture next week x

i have been wondering this too lol, i have a very overexcited fiance who keeps wanting to sqeeze em and grope em and its really turning me off at min if you know what i mean ;o) ... cos im worrying there gonna explode the whole time lmao, keep telling him to not do it so much cos it hurts still ( when in fact it dont hurt at all) but im just scared there gonna go pop lol

i had my op on a monday,and gave the new additions a run for their money on the wednesday,not saying its recommended but did no damage to mine.

Silicone implants can be run over by a car and not pop. I have video proof if needed.

I hadnt really thought about this, but am now thinking that i will be keeping away from rollercoasters! I am going to look after these really carefully, not taking any chances. Great question! x

I worry about this too, but they are made of strong stuff so I guess lying on your front and your hubby having a grope wont effect them. I have done roller coasters since having a BA and although I know there are risks I was fine. I went on oblivion and air at alton towers last month and the overhead seatbelts were tight but they didnt squash my boobs to much. xx

well i been on plenty of rollercoasters at thorpe park and alton towers last year and mine are fine my surgeon said they would not rupture on rollercoasters and rides only in a bed crash or a massive bang with a strong impact of force i really dont believe about the rollercoaster rupture if that was true woman with implants would be having ruptures my friend lives in la and goes on some of the fastest g force rollercoasters in the world for years and years she has implants and never have they been ruptured by the impact of the rollercoasters i honestly dont believe it i like to see alot of proof to back up this then i would believe it

HI Ladies
I think another reason for being careful of impact on boobs is not just because of rupture but also because of CC. Sudden and severe breast trauma which could lead to an inflammatory reaction can bring on Capsual Contraction (apparently). I know the nurse I saw who talked through risks with me before my BA said she had a woman who had a capsulectomy following a two year old on her knee suddenly throwing his head back in temper and it whacked straight into her boob. That is scary and am sure it happens very very rarely but because it came from the mouth of a medical professional it does make me vary wary of protecting my boobs from roller coasters, sudden impacts etc!!!

can i see the video proof fawn, im intruiged, as sometimes when i lay on my front in bed, it hurts and i have to roll on my side as i worry they are gunna pop, eeek, the thort makes me cringe xx

Hmm i think your right, i really cannot see a rollercoster being a problem, my fiance really wanted to go thorpe park for his birthday and i said i didnt think i was allowed and he was well gutted, but think it will be fine tbh so might go and give him some good news lol

Unless there is a defect in the shell BEFORE they're implanted, or excessive rippling (which would cause the shell to rub against itself and eventually weaken), these things are indestructible.

exactly fawn no rollercoaster in the world could rupture them my surgeon through some implants around his office really hard and jumped on them and they were fine so i tend to only believe these things when i see it with my own eyes girls rollercoasters are fine my friend lives in la and uses them all the time and her implants are fine just like mine and many others who use rollercoasters and rides xxxx
