Anti Bacterial Soap

Post by suz0410 on 5th August 2010, 9:37 pm

I've read a lot of people saying they are advised to wash in anti bac soap the night before BA, where can you get it from and is there any particular type that is best?

Thanks

Suz xxxx

I was advised to shower with tea tree ( a natural anti bacterial) shower gel for two weeks before. I got mine from the Body Shop. The smell of tea tree now always rminds me of my boob job though!!

Some surgeons will advice you to take arnica and vit supplements. But others don't. It is really important you do what YOUR surgeon advises. I didn't take arnica or anything else because I was told not to, but loads of girls on here are advised too!! Just follow the advice you get girls. xx

I used Hibiscrub which is an anti bacterial wash used in hospitals, I bought it in Boots, you shower in it the night before and also on the day of your surgery.

If you haven't been advised by 'your' clinic to take these things then I wouldn't hun.

My first surgery I didn't use arnica and healed just fine, my second, I was instructed by the clinic to take arnica and I bruised like a peach!!!! So I personally son't think it makes much difference to your recovery anyway babe. xx

I didn't and was never advised to. I healed fine. I did and still do use tea tree oil in my bath as it's great for your skin

I bought a shirt nightie from M&S. I normally wear vest tops and shorts but this shirt was a godsend, not too 'granny' like other front fastening PJ's either.x
