3 days post op now - doing great, nausea gone yay!

Post by kettlel on 29th July 2010, 8:30 am

Hi ladies

Well I'm 3 days post op now, nausea lifting today thank god, that was really getting me down.

Boobs are fine (I think), bruising underneath and near incisions and a few sharp pains here and there but mostly pain free. I can't stop looking at them. This is my 2nd BA so obviously I'm a little stretched already but I thought having 370cc I might look quite fake and round at the top but I don't at all. All the volume is at the bottom like a natural boob would be, I'm so pleased. Maybe I've got more chest fat than I thought ha ha!!

I took my drain plaster off today as I was told and a little bit of steristrip started to come away from the main incision, I've stuck it back on, should I be concerned? I't only at 1 end, about 1cm?

I would love to see pics of any girls with 370cc (or similar) overs if I'm allowed to now? Please. Esp any ladies who started out pretty flat like me! I will take some pics to put on on Monday, when OH goes back to work, he would think I'm mad if I started taking pics of my bruised boobies now!!

Bit random, but I've got a really sore patch on the edge of my jaw/behind ear, could this be anything to do with the op do you think??

Hi Kettlel,

That is not random at all, i also have a sore patch edge of jaw close to ear! I was wondering what i had done! Have no idea why though??

I am 10 days post op now, just had 525cc (had 450cc removed PIPs) I was a very flat 32A to begin with. I have pic of mine before recent op (with 450cc in) if any good to show you? I was going to try to put some pics on picturetrail thing but im not too good with computers! Will let u know password etc when done if you want?

Hi Georgie

How strange about the ear pain!!! Glad it's not just me, I feel fine but I was thinking oh no I'm coming down with tonsilitis or something?!

How are you getting on 10 days post op? Did you have overs? Must have been very stressful for you with the whole PIP thing :-( What size do you think you are now? I wish I'd been braver and gone for 410s now, damn boobie greed!! Did you find it easier 2nd time? I def did. Would love to see your pics when you've figured it out! I'm rubbish with computers too, I've never used picturetrail but will give it a go!

hey,

im really well thankyou. I just want to get on and do everything 'normal'! but my hubby keeps moaning and telling me to take it easy.

My surgeon told me that i should go up a cup size but we will see. I was a 32E pre op and i am wearing a 32F nasty sports bra but dont know if its swelling or not! Cant wait till i can wear lovely bras and see if im keeping the F cup. This was actually my 3rd op, my original implants were 260cc and gave me a C cup but then i had my son and they looked droopy, so had them redone 18mths ago with the dreaded PIPs!! It was so much easier 2nd and 3rd time cause they only had to do a quick swap round! I def have boobie greed too! i really wanted to go a little bigger but surgeon said i would be buying myself trouble so i had to listen, cant afford to keep having ops!

Will try and sort picturetrail out asap, my daughter (who is 11) says she can do it! Will let u know! xx

Thanks everyone

Kid247 - I think it varies person to person, but I know several girls who have been very sick after their BA. The 1st time I had it done, I was sick for 5 days, this time I told the anaesthetist how sick I got and whatever he did seemed to have worked cause I had no nausea day 1 or 2 post op, just a horrible day of vomiting/nausea on day 3 but fine again on day 4. I'm day 5 now and feel fantastic.

I just noticed Kettlel you had them done at McIndoe Centre. How did you find it? I looked at those after scanning the info of the 'ugly face of beauty' surgeons. I'd love to go there just the 4 hour drive putting me off!

kid247 - The McIndoe is fantastic, staff were fab and the food even better!! They were in no rush to get rid of me and even asked if I wanted to stay an extra night (all included in price) and I've phoned a few times since having if done and the aftercare service has been great. Def worth the drive in my opinion! Nice part of the country, you could stay in a hotel for the night either side? xx
